    Finally, in Sydney, August 30.

    | 15:22

Finally, finally we arrived in Sydney.

Yesterday, after 10 hours of flight and the same waiting at the airport in Tahiti because Ben gave us the hole (we caught the influence of the "Pig"), we arrived in Sydney virtually exhausted!

On arrival, the pilot made a sightseeing tour of the city. From the top is really beautiful, just stand the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, the Sydney Tower and the beaches of Bondi. Fantastic!

We searched for a place to spend the night away to bed! Yes, here, we have also sought accommodation at the end because no girl who had contacted the apartment: we have not trusted for a variety of reasons that we are not here to write you! Read the rest of this entry »

Bora Bora August 25 to 28

    August 28, 2009 | 21:31

Our first tour of the last island in Polynesia, Bora Bora!

We start with showing you the view from our balcony and a couple of photos taken around the island:

And to think that it is "only" a boarding house (Robert et Tina) on the tip of the peninsula to the south, but the lagoon here is spatial. Throw a gale and the clouds are with us, but you get a tan anyway. Dodo has the sign of the glasses as usual, so all regular!

Here too, an effort that not even say, yes indeed: in the morning wake up at dawn, about half-past six / seven, hearty breakfast, then walk and the beach. With the clouds the water is a bit "chilly" so yes the bathroom, but not always right ... huh! Then lunch and back to cook some up at sunset. In the evening to sleep early.

Here follows the life times of the sun and say that it is hard to get used to, at nine collapse by. The beach life is notoriously difficult. Read the rest of this entry »

    Huahine August 21 to 25

    August 25, 2009 | 04:46

Open this post by saying that in this island we had an illumination: geckos speak!
We're not mad, it is true, to emit a shrill, we have also seen them hunt.
At this moment we do not have internet available, so you turn to the question: how to call the gecko?

Well, we're just relaxing. This question has been the biggest stress we faced these days.

We're really just paying to the beach, and sun baths.

Even here in Huahine a house in the garden a few steps from the sea, we are on the board Meherio (managed by Pier, very friendly and jovial person, who reminds us Fefe, from the cartoon "Fefe the skunk." Not for the smell of course, but how does. Do you remember?).

Fortunately this time the beach and there is white. From the shore we saw two sea eagles were playing together, too good. Read the rest of this entry »

    Raiatea August 18 to 20

    August 21, 2009 | 02:33

Raiatea, that strange island ... absolutely beautiful, but absolutely no beaches, the vegetation comes right straight down to the sea, right in the water huh!

Of 100 km of island, which we turned into the car, we found just a mini beach "artificial" in the Bay of Opoa.

It 'a goal, that of Raiatea, in our opinion suitable for those who want to go hiking, there are walks that reach upward from the top of the mountains and offer great views.

The island is also inhabited by many crabs, there are very many, they are able to pierce the asphalt, crazy!

We saw a dozen of small dolphins, beautiful!!

We have noticed less tourism, very few people and that this is absolutely calm, quiet, so quiet time, driving 30 km / h. Stressatissima.

The main town, Uturoa is very pretty, has a beautiful harbor, new pat.
We stay at the Pension Manava, bungalows in the garden. All very nice. And 'property of a couple: she was born in Marseille and lived in Africa, has arrived in Polynesia in 1983 by a mission of the French army (he was enrolled) and from here he's gone over, and he Polynesian birth organizes excursions.
Early tomorrow morning we share, we expect 4 days in Huahine ... we hope to find some white sand beach.

    Moorea August 16 to 18

    August 18, 2009 | 20:56

Here we are in Moorea after making the longest flight of our lives: 6 minutes (including takeoff and landing).

The island looks so different from Tahiti, a few tourists at the airport, few cars around, thankfully everything more comfortable.

Stayed at the Hotel Hibiscus (a lady at the reception in Milan for 15 years in Moorea), very nice bungalow in the garden, with kitchenette (very "corner"), overlooking the lagoon and lagoon spectacular!

The island is very green, and innumerable shades of many colors.
There are chickens, roosters and chickens around the island, we also revolve around the bungalow, not to mention the dogs on the beach, running, sleeping and swimming all day, that terrible life.

The lagoon is a gem, you'll see the photos, many photos ... Dodo said that the water is cold, but it's not veroooo.

There are so many words, we leave you with photos, for now in the post, but do not worry, we are creating the gallery to fit them all, give us some time!

ps it will save the "Evening Photographs" on our return.

p.s2. Thank you all for your comments, we do smile :-)

    Tahiti 14 to 15 August

    August 16, 2009 | 19:54

Landed at 3 am on Aug. 14 after a stopover in Papeete to Auckland well 7 hours, absolutely shattered. We were at the airport a few hours trying to figure out which way to turn and we were booking the first board with the guides found at the information desk.

We found a 15-km from Papeete, the area Punaauia Armelle Pension B & B for two days.

We wandered to Papeete throughout the day: we did not like much, in the sense that we expected more quiet, but it is busy, full port city, houses a mix of "new" and sketched houses with tin roof . We have to move out to find some 'quiet.

Start doing the first meeting ... a cameraman in the early morning dark Caribbean, from 9 years in Papeete, we were guided by coach until his retirement, then skipper of Durban for work on thirties who move their boats to sail around the world of the various existing billionaires has been here for three months ... but starting to Tonga. We had met at the bus stop in both cases. Here you can see people just starts chatting happily. Read the rest of this entry »

    August 11 - Dubai

    August 11, 2009 | 20:57

    Here we are,

    landed in Dubai.

We fly and fly with Emirates. Absolutely satisfied for now: crew friendly and good food, not to lose good habits, we accompanied the dishes with a white light wine in Chile, but the founder of Italian, of course.

We will stop here for a few hours. At Terminal 3, where we are, there is a Health Club (next to the Spa-fifth floor), shower which offers the service for $ 13.00 (per person) include everything you need, ie shampoo, towels ...

You can slumber peacefully in the present chaise longue, so right now there is absolutely no one, it feels good.

    We salute you!
